About
An ice show at the SK Yubileyny arena bringing together the two Petersburg figure skaters at the centre of the sport's late-1990s and early-2000s rivalry — Yevgeny Plushenko (Olympic gold, 2006) and Alexei Yagudin (Olympic gold, 2002) — twenty-five years on from the peak of that competition. Concept and production by Yana Rudkovskaya. The Musketeers frame is used as a narrative for a full ice show — costumes, lighting, choreography — rather than a competition-style exhibition programme. Yubileyny has hosted previous shows by both skaters and is one of the standard Petersburg ice venues. For international visitors, this is a rare opportunity to see two generational figure-skating names on the same programme. No language barrier — the storytelling is visual.
