A guided tour of the exhibition Erte — Genius of Art Deco at the OSNOVA Design Museum. Roman Tyrtov (Erté, 1892-1990) — the Russian-born French-based fashion illustrator, designer and painter — is one of the defining figures of the Art Deco movement. The exhibition provides an in-depth look at Erté's work across illustration, costume, jewellery and stage design. The tour covers his career trajectory from Petersburg origins through his mid-century Parisian and American practice. One of the more distinctive design-history exhibitions in Petersburg.
