A guided tour of the Vladimir Palace, framed around the building's current life as the House of Scientists — the Petersburg academic institution that has occupied the palace since 1917 and, in preserving the imperial interiors, made the tour possible. Access to spaces closed to the general public, including some of the private residential rooms of the Grand Ducal family. The tour covers the marble staircases, chandeliers and sculpture, together with anecdotes about the palace before and after 1917. Guided-only entry.
