A concert on the roof at Roof Place from Kalinov Most — one of the founding bands of Russian folk-rock, formed in Novosibirsk in 1986 by Dmitry Revyakin. Their songbook draws deeply on Slavic folk material and Old Believer religious imagery, mixed with Soviet-era rock energy. Nearly four decades in, they remain one of the most respected live acts in the country.

Kalinov Most is one of the great bands of the perestroika-era Russian rock scene. Revyakin's imagery — half folklore, half theology — is unlike anyone else. A rooftop set at dusk is close to ideal.
