About
A rooftop jazz concert at KRYSHA360 (Ambassador Hotel rooftop) dedicated to the standards catalogue of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan — the defining generation of female jazz vocalists. Vocals by Olga Abdullina with the jazz band JAZZ HOOLIGANS. The rooftop setting works well for the programme in summer evenings. Candlelit staging is a marketing frame but also part of the actual setup. Programme moves through the standards book — Summertime, God Bless the Child, Cry Me a River — in arrangements built for a small band. Language load is low — English-language standards material.
