The Osobnyak-Nebylitsa is a themed museum in central Petersburg housed in the former mansion of the merchant Tselibeyeva. The name — 'Fairy-Tale Mansion' — describes the format: a walk-through world of Russian folk figures, mythical beasts and legend, built as immersive installations rather than a historical exhibition. Herr von Helenverkhoff, the mysterious gatekeeper, is the introducing character. The rooms are built by a team of professional prop-makers, designers and artists working with contemporary multimedia — closer to a themed attraction than a folk-life museum. Aimed at family audiences. In Russian; visual grammar carries the substance. Language load is manageable for Potter-fluent children who like themed environments.
