A production of Oleg Bogaev's contemporary Russian drama The Living Corpse at the St Petersburg Russian Drama Theatre. Bogaev, born 1970, is one of the leading playwrights of the post-Soviet generation; the play uses the title of Tolstoy's late unfinished drama as a starting point to write about a specific kind of contemporary Russian numbness.
