A guided visit to a preserved late-19th / early-20th-century flat on the Petrogradskaya Side, run by its resident. The apartment retains its turn-of-the-century interior more or less intact: not a museum reconstruction, but a lived-in space where the objects on the shelves were used by the family and can be picked up and examined. The hostess guides the tour personally, explaining what each object was for and how it fitted into the everyday life of a pre-Revolutionary Petersburg household. Breakfast in the dining room is part of the format — a proper morning meal rather than a museum café. In Russian; visitors without Russian will follow the visual objects but miss the anecdotes.
