A stage version of Pavel Sanaev's 1996 autobiographical novel Bury Me Behind the Baseboard (Pokhoronite menya za plintusom) at the Great Puppet Theatre. Sanaev's cult novel — the specifically painful memoir of a Soviet-era Moscow childhood spent with a monstrous grandmother — has become one of the essential documents of the late-Soviet family experience.
