A concert at Igor Butman's Jazz Club from pianist Oleg Akkuratov and his trio. Akkuratov, blind since birth, is one of the finest jazz pianists on the current Russian scene — a virtuoso whose sightless ear-training has produced an unusually acute rhythmic imagination.

Akkuratov is a serious player and a genuinely moving live performer. Butman's club is the right room for his trio work.
