A stage version of the 1950 American film All About Eve at the Akimov Comedy Theatre. The specifically sharp Hollywood chamber drama — Margo Channing, the aging Broadway star, and Eve Harrington, the ambitious young protégée slowly displacing her — remains one of the great works of the classic American film canon. Bureau's take
Joseph L. Mankiewicz's original film is a genuine masterpiece. A stage version has to earn the material; the Akimov's version works.
