A performance based on the diaries and poems of Nikolai Zabolotsky — one of the more distinctive Russian poets of the 20th century — focused on one of the most difficult periods of his life. The material explores metaphysical reflections on madness, fate and hope. Directed by Valery Semyonov, staged in an unusual venue: the technical building of the Andrei Mironov Theatre, restored by Rudolf Davydovich. The specific venue is part of the staging. In Russian; language-heavy — the poems and diary text are the substance.
