About
A boat cruise on the double-decker Fregat Blagodat around the green islands of the Neva delta — Petrogradsky, Aptekarsky, Yelagin, Krestovsky and Kamenny — and out towards the Gulf of Finland. The islands are the calmer, greener side of central Petersburg, largely 19th- and early-20th-century dacha country now part of the city. Views along the route include the Hermitage, the cruiser Aurora, the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Bronze Horseman on Senate Square, and the Lakhta Centre — the tallest building in Europe — on the Gulf shore. Two decks, covered and open. Onboard bar. Best in the light months; the islands work as a live landscape in summer and less well in winter.

A quieter alternative to the standard centre-of-town canal cruise — green islands rather than embankments, and Lakhta Centre in the distance. Best from May to September.
