About
Mikhail Bulgakov's 1925 comedy Zoyka's Flat at the Actor's House of the St Petersburg Union of Theatre Workers. Zoyka runs a dressmaker's atelier out of her Moscow flat — a cover for a more lucrative and illegal after-hours business. One of the sharpest satires of the early Soviet NEP-era experiments with capitalism.
