A musical staging based on Korney Chukovsky's children's poems at the Arkady Raikin Estrada Theatre. Chukovsky (1882-1969) is the essential children's poet of the Russian 20th century and the Barmaley cycle — about a menacing pirate who turns out reformable — is one of his most staged works. Family programme with substantial musical numbers. In Russian; the story is culturally specific but the visual and musical elements carry substance for families.
