White Nights
About
A stage version of Fyodor Dostoevsky's 1848 short story White Nights (Belye nochi) at the St Petersburg State Music Hall Theatre. Dostoevsky's specifically Petersburg-set romantic novella — a specifically dreamer narrator meets a young woman named Nastenka on the embankment during the specifically White Nights season.
Bureau's take
Dostoevsky's White Nights is arguably his warmest work — and one of the specifically Petersburg literary subjects.
