Elite Stand-Up (Comedy Stuff)
About
A stand-up night from the Comedy Stuff label at Antresol i Perets — a restaurant-museum venue with photo zones and a distinctive interior. The line-up is drawn from Russian TV stand-up circuit regulars (TNT, NTV) and comedians associated with the current comedy-video projects. The programme varies by evening. Formats include tested material, new material, 'roast'-style paired comedians riffing on each other, and 'Gong Show' segments where each comic has a few minutes to hold the room. Audience participation is part of the format on some nights. In Russian. Stand-up rewards language fluency — visitors without Russian will find the visual comedy elements and stage energy rewarding but will miss most of the punchlines.
Bureau's take
A working Russian stand-up night in an atmospheric restaurant venue. Language-heavy — skip unless you follow enough Russian for verbal comedy.
