INOE — a dance-theatre piece at Hefner Club
About
A dance-theatre piece at Hefner Club. The premise: a 'factory of emptiness' where the protagonist places an order for a reflection — something that can neither be bought, begged for nor stolen. The factory is willing to fulfil his wish; what happens next tests his received understanding of the world. The finale poses a question the audience is invited to answer. Contemporary dance-theatre form; language load is low — the piece works through movement.
Bureau's take
A working contemporary dance-theatre piece in a small central venue. Language-independent — the movement vocabulary carries the substance.
