About
A tragicomedy at KDTs Moskovsky. Peterburzhenka — 'the Petersburg woman' — is both title and subject: a portrait of a specific kind of city dweller, a woman formed by the weather, the courtyards and the particular strain of Petersburg pride. The show sits between monologue and character study.
Bureau's take
A local piece for a local audience. The material is warm and observant; foreign viewers with some Russian will still catch the essentials.
