Polar Sickness
Age rating18+
About
A drama at the St Petersburg State Music Hall Theatre. A contemporary Russian play built around the specific psychological condition of the long polar winter — the darkness, the confinement, the small distortions of judgment that follow. Two acts.
Bureau's take
Polar sickness is a real Russian psychiatric category and a rich subject for chamber drama. A serious repertory piece for adult audiences.
