About
A coach tour of central Petersburg after dark. The city's 300+ years of history and specific atmospheric weight read differently against evening lighting than against daylight; this tour takes visitors through the main historical landmarks with commentary on the events and figures that shaped the city. Route covers the central squares, principal palaces and cathedrals from the bus. In summer the city's famous 'white nights' — the long twilight of late June and early July — give the tour a specific quality; in winter the streetlight and snow do the same.
