A stage version of Alexander Pushkin's 1836 historical novella The Captain's Daughter (Kapitanskaya dochka) at the St Petersburg State Music Hall Theatre. Pushkin's specifically 18th-century-set Russian frontier novel — the young officer Petr Grinev, the daughter of a small-fortress captain, and the great Pugachev peasant uprising of 1773–1775.
